This is beauty
In a world where beauty is based on how much make-up you wear and how expensive your clothes are, I want to bring meaning of true beauty back.
True Beauty isn’t going to come from superficial things like clothes and make-up, it comes from all the experiences you have in life. It’s everything that comes together to make you who you are that is truly beautiful.
Beautiful are the wrinkles on your face that remind you of all the different ways you have smiled in your life, bringing back the memories of joy and laughter. It is the soft skin that reminds you of all the times you cried in your life and got stronger because of it. It is the bags under your eyes that are a symbol of sacrifice of all the time you gave for someone else to find comfort.
We forget that beauty isn’t what you look like, it is who you are and what you have done that made you into the person you are today.
We don’t have to fall into the trap of the superficial world and think that the only beautiful things in the world come from spending a lot of money. Things can be and should be changed for the better, think twice.
With this project I want people to see that who they are, their wrinkles and all, are BEAUTFUL, in every way imaginable.
You are beautiful because of the life that has created you and who you are. Not because of what you wear, your porcelain skin, or the dimensions of your body.
So, the next time you look in the mirror and you think you are anything less than beautiful because you have some scars, wrinkles, sagging skin, spots or even achene I hope you stop yourself and remember that all those things make you beautiful because you chose to live fully and authentically.
